Great knife - very comfortable to carry (almost disappears where I carry it - behind my phone holster), feels great in the hand. Finish is smooth but not slick, and the edge is perfection.
The DCK is brilliant. Perfect fit and finish. It feels like it was custom made for my hand. I made a kydex add on for the sheath to be able to carry it deep in my right pocket and quickly draw it in an ice pick grip. I’ve been using the trainer on a bob dummy, and it feels great with both slashing and piercing strikes (be careful if you do this as the trainer will absolutely penetrate the outer layer and tear up the interior foam). I’d love to see a 3-3.5 inch blade version to legally carry in more restrictive states. Overall, this is easily a top 3 knife in my collection.
I own a lot of quality knives and this may be the closest to perfection that I have. Amazing in every way and feels like it was custom made for my hand. It’s strong, has the perfect weight for use, and locks into my hand like it belongs there. I am already saving up for the next drop.

Absolutely perfect, razor sharp, well made is how I would describe this blade when it arrived. It fits my hand and the design of the handle locks it there. The sheath has no rattle with the blade and allows a clean draw.
I bought the DCK MK1 Tan Double Edge and the DCK MK1 Stonewashed/Black Single Edge for my fiancé as a Christmas gift, and he absolutely loves them. He was genuinely excited when he opened them and forgot about the rest of the gifts I got him, haha. He’s a deputy and pretty particular about his gear, so seeing how happy he was with both knives meant a lot, especially since I'm not familiar with knife quality or what constitutes a good brand for duty knives. They feel solid, well-made, and sharp from the moment they're taken out of the box. The grip feels secure in the hand, and they just feel like quality knives you can rely on. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely buy from Compliance Edge again. I’d recommend these knives to anyone looking for something dependable and well-built.

New Favorite Writing a review after a few weeks of use in sunny (hot, humid, wet) Florida and I have to say this knife is absolutely fantastic. I’ve been carrying in appendix position with a deep carry clip and it’s such a nice change to not have to make sure I oil my blade each evening to avoid rust. Loving the magnacut and the handle is a perfect fit for my hands. (Size large glove.) As most have mentioned, the edge is a laser, feels like it can cut at an atomic level. I’m very happy I found Yonis wonderful work and hope to add another of his blades in the future.

This is my 2nd blade from compliance edge and my first double edged blade I never knew I needed. First off the craftsmanship is impeccable. I’ve been carrying the henchman for the last couple months and love it, very happy to add this one to the collection for daily use. I also love the labeled band-aide in the package, this thing is damn sharp. Cannot recommend this knife more, but honestly all of these knives seem great.
Great knife and great customer service! Perfect size to conceal carry a fixed blade. The magnacut steel is solid. Chose this over the Dynamis Alliance and have no regrets. Highly recommend
This is the best fixed blade knife. My first impression when I picked it up was how incredibly light it felt. The handle is also very smooth and extremely comfortable. And above all, it looks awesome! It was shipped to Japan and arrived without any issues—thank you very much. I like CEK knives so much that I'm considering purchasing other models.

This is an absolutely stellar knife! I own 2 DCK-Rs and was looking for something with a full handle; this DCK MK1 did not disappoint. Fits my hand perfectly, for a rock-solid grip, any way you grab it. Perfectly designed jimping allows for great control, with no slipping. This thing is perfectly balanced with an edge that can only be described as frightening. Another excellent piece from Compliance Edge. I won’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone.
Fits perfectly in the hand in either a Filipino grip, saber grip, and especially reverse grip. Comfortable to carry all day. Hand finishing is evident with the smoothed edged and machining marks removed. It's extraordinarily sharp at a 22.5° bevel.
I’ve been buying knives for many years. I have never had one with the level of quality this blade possesses. Absolutely flawless. Will be purchasing another. Sheath is excellent too!
Love the knife and the design. Been eyeing this DCK for awhile now before I pulled the trigger. I’ve owned a few others Compliance Edge knives and this would be a great addition to the collection!

This is one of the best knives I own. A great EDC and defensive knife. Firstly, it’s very well made. Jimping is great and the knife is well balanced. The sculpted G10 scales provide a good grip, and the handle shape is perfect for reverse grip. This knife has made my collection complete!

I've been collecting EDC Self Defense fixed blades for 24 years. I purchased two DCKs and I have to say being impressed is a understatement. With this purchase I purchased two extra Sheaths for different ways of carry. The Finger Guard is HUGE and it what drew me to this knife. The Double Edge is a excellent design for Push/Pull applications. Yoni customer service is OUTSTANDING!!!!!. He gave me a call to clarify my order, I was very impressed with him taking time to talk with me. The DCKs is the BEST design I have seen and will recommend. It's December 24th so I say Merry CHRISTmas to everyone!!!!

Of course I had to get his big brother! The quality materials used and attention to detail are obvious at first grasp. Between the product, the maker, and the customer service, this is by far one of the best all around!
Yoni nailed it out of the park on this one! Absolutely perfect! The machining quality on these gen 2 blades is next level. My opinion, there are no cnc blades on the market that matches yoni’s work. Grinds perfectly symmetrical, blade finish amazing, overall extremely tight tolerances and attention to detail. Pair that with the great design of the dck with magnacut steel and you get a masterpiece! As always, his edges are extremely sharp and you can’t ask for a more perfect sheath! Well worth every penny!
The blade is flawless. Arrived super sharp. Very comfortable in hand. Jimping is both aggressive and comfortable. Sheath is perfect fit with no rattle. My one request and it's really nitpicky would be to ask for a drain hole in the sheath. Love the knife! Its gonna live on my belt kit
DCK MK1 (Tropic Thunder) Double Edge
Store owner replied: Hi Dale, I am glad you like your blade! To add a drain tube, you can heat the very tip of your sheath for a few seconds with a heat gun or hairdryer and it will open up. Please note that this will introduce some rattle to the sheath, since I achieve that rattle free fit by clamping down on just the very tip.

Awesome Blade
I received this knife and was immediately impressed with the quality. The finish is excellent. Great 4" blade, conceals perfectly. It fits my XL hand. The tail-end hook locks the knife in your hand and enables a quick withdrawal, especially in reverse grip. The sheath is awesome with great retention and minimal amount of Kydex. Great blade geometry and super sharp. These knives sell out instantly so jump on it immediately when they are available. You will not be disappointed!
The updated MK1 - the blade is slightly shortened, and the grind is "slicier". It would be very hard to improve on the original design, and I won't say that one is definitively better than the other, but there are small optimizations: 1.) it is slightly easier to carry - you wouldn't think 1/4" makes a difference, but it does, and 2.) It does perform better on day-to-day cutting tasks. I don't think losing the length would is a significant blow to its defensive capability, and, without getting too woo woo about it, I think the slightly shorter blade feels more elegantly proportioned. Overall, it is similar to its predecessor, but if you have carried the older version (as I have), you will notice and appreciate the small differences. If you have the old version and you like it, this is a small upgrade that lands well. Whether it is worth rebuying the blade to have the newer version kind of depends on your use case. If you don't have the any version of the MK1, buy this knife immediately. It is the best defensive short fixed blade knife available at any price.
Knife is phenomenal. Quality is top notch and the craftsmanship is superb. Will definitely be adding another one to collection as time goes on. Just do yourself a favor and buy one already
The quality of this blade is clear. It is head and shoulders above other knives in its price point. It's evident they are made by a single individual with extreme attention to detail and precision. I am very happy with it, no regrets.
AMAZING PIECE
Love it! The size, weight, balance, design and quality are top notch. I would like to replace the belt clip with an Ulti Clip but I’m not sure which one to use. Highly recommended.
